The Best Value in Indoor Golf in NYC, and the Math Behind It

People keep telling us we're the best value in indoor golf in the city. We'll take the compliment, but it isn't luck. It's a pricing decision we made on purpose, and it's simple enough to explain in a few paragraphs.
One rate. The whole bay. Everyone plays.
Most golf simulators in Manhattan charge for the bay and then charge again for each person in it. We don't. At Clubhouse you book the bay by the hour and bring whoever you want, up to eight people. The price is the same whether you show up alone or with your regular four.
Right now our summer rates are live: $80 an hour peak and $50 an hour off-peak. Peak is weekday evenings from 5 to 10 and weekends from 10 in the morning to 10 at night. Off-peak is everything else, which, since we're open 24 hours, is most of the week.
The math gets better the more people you bring.
Because it's one rate for the bay, the per-person cost drops with every player you add.
Two players at peak: $40 each. Four players: $20 each. Six players: about $13 each.
Off-peak, a foursome is $12.50 a person for an hour of golf on a full-swing simulator, and six friends split it to about $8 each. Buy a package and peak time drops as low as $70 an hour, and the bonus off-peak hours that come with it can push a round down to around $12 per person.

What you don't pay for.
Here is where the value actually lives, because the hourly rate is only part of the bill at most simulators.
Clubs are included. Titleist T200 irons, Vokey 58 and 54 wedges, and a TaylorMade Qi35 driver and 5-wood are waiting in both bays for every booking. There is no rental line on your receipt. Elsewhere, club rental is commonly an added fee.
There are no per-player fees. Many venues charge per person on top of the bay rate. We charge for the hour, not the head.
Bring your own food and drink. Order in, bring a bottle, bring the whole spread. No corkage, no cover, no minimum spend. Food and drink minimums are common at other simulators, and they can quietly double a night out.
Same night out, very different bills.
Put it together for a peak hour with four friends. At Clubhouse it's $80 for the bay, $0 for clubs, and $0 for whatever you brought to eat and drink. That's $80 total, or $20 a person.
A typical night elsewhere in Manhattan often starts at $100 or more for the sim time, adds a club rental fee, and adds whatever the food and drink minimum comes to. It frequently lands north of $300 for the same four people. We're not the lowest sticker price in the city, and we're not trying to be. We're the best value once you count everything that's included.
